For those of you interested in purchasing an android tablet, check out some Android tablet reviews by clicking on the link. If your not in the market for one but already have a tablet, take a look at some Android tablet apps.
The Microsoft Pro and RT seem aimed at taking on Apple while the Google Nexus 7 is aimed to reduce the Kindle Fire to ashes. Truly, it’s difficult to think about anyone who might get a highly altered Android device over one with the latest Jelly Bean 4.1 Android os.
Similarly, it’s hard to envision someone who might buy either of the Surface devices instead of an iPad, particularly when rates for the Surface hasn’t been established but is anticipated to be in the upper hundreds. Then again, the Microsoft Surface tablets offer at least a few abilities not offered on the iPad - however, you never know what Apple might add to its arsenal.

The restricted amount of information we have on the Microsoft Surface for Windows 8 Pro implies that the device might give the iPad a run for its money. All of the Windows os, the Touch/Type keyboard options, integrated kickstand and two USB ports could be enough to make a number of Apple fans to add the Surface Pro to their collection of gadgets.
So notable is Microsoft’s choice to provide two USB ports that Doug Gross of CNN said, “These ports open up the possibility of extra storage, printing and other external capabilities that should be easier and quicker than the workarounds iPad users need involving cloud storage, WiFi connections and the like.”
Even so, it appears the most likely buyer of the new Microsoft tablet will be individuals who are contemplating purchasing their very first tablet. This segment of the market, having worked on full desktops for so long, may be more happy with Microsoft’s beefy tablet/PC crossbreed.
The tablet market is expected to grow by 85% in 2012 this might not be a bad business strategy for Microsoft. Sadly speculation about the Microsoft Surface for Windows 8 Pro say it will cost roughly $1000. This may cause some to forfeit expandable storage and other extras in favor of keeping a few hundred dollars in their pocket.
